Client: Slow Loris
Goal: Slow Loris is a t-shirt company based on Guemes Island, Washington, with their shirts sold in REI stores nationwide and through their website. As the account manager and art director, my role was to increase awareness of their shirts and share Jess’s (the lead artist) designs with the world via social media. I collaborated closely with Jess to create campaigns tailored to the Slow Loris audience. For their May 2024 campaign, I developed the theme "Nature Inspires Creativity." Jess designed artwork reflecting this theme, and the Slow Loris team produced shirts featuring her designs. I coordinated with photographers to connect with local PNW artists who are passionate about nature. By leveraging these artists' audiences, we promoted the shirts to their creative followers.
Results: This campaign led to increased engagement across almost all platforms, the Slow Loris Pinterest and Facebook pages saw significant boosts in engagement rates, demonstrating a strong connection to this campaign, which resulted in hundreds of sales of these tees. The designs were also used in paid digital ads targeting specific key demographics, and a blog post highlighting each of the artists. Several of these designs were featured in REI stores, where they reached thousands of customers nationwide.

First, Jess designs tees based on the overall theme. For this campaign, I selected "Nature Inspires Creativity," celebrating how artists can find inspiration in unexpected places. The Slow Jams Sloth design was a key part of this collection.
We partnered with local PNW artists to capture them engaging in their unique creative specialties while wearing Slow Loris tees.
Through social media posts featuring these photos and videos, the tees made their way to the Slow Loris website and REI stores nationwide, reaching thousands of customers.
